Millennium Geomatics Ltd. is committed to protecting the health and safety of all individuals affected by our work as well as the environment in which we live and operate. We work within the guidelines set forth by EnForm for a partnership in health and safety. We have met and exceed the quality assurance review and have obtained a Certificate of Recognition.
Millennium Geomatics takes great pride in protecting the environment during all phases of its operations to minimize the environmental footprint. WE are also strong community supporters and contribute both time and resources to various programs and charities throughout Calgary and area.
Privacy
Commitment to Protection of Personal Information
Millennium Geomatics Ltd. (Millennium) respects the privacy of the personal information provided by its shareholders, clients and employees and is committed to the protection of personal information in its possession or custody.
Definition of Personal Information
Personal information is information that can identify an individual such as name, home address and telephone number , and includes employee personal information, but does not include the business contact information, or work product information of a Millennium employee.
Purposes for Collection of Personal Information
Millennium will collect, use and disclose personal information to:

establish, maintain and terminate the employment relationship with its employees;

provide products and services to its shareholders and clients; and

comply with applicable laws such as the Income Tax Act and Employment Standards.
Protection of Personal Information
Whether in electronic or paper-based format, Millennium Geomatics will maintain reasonable and appropriate security systems personal information in its custody or under its control from unauthorized access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal or similar risks. Millennium will use reasonable contractual and other means to ensure that third parties to which Millennium transfers personal information for the purposes of providing products or services on the company's behalf or for other purposes protect the confidentiality of the personal information in a manner consistent with Millennium's security measures.

Millennium Geomatics Ltd. will comply with government regulations, follow accepted industry practices and maintain our own corporate policies at levels that commensurate with the high standards by which we conduct our business. We believe that continuously improving these standards is compatible with improving our business performance. We, individually and collectively, are committed to pursuing this objective and accept responsibility for doing so.
Millennium Geomatics Ltd. will establish appropriate health, safety and environmental performance goals and regularly our process toward them. We will communicate on health, safety and environmental matters in open and timely manner with all affected parties.
Millennium Geomatics Ltd. will establish and document specific responsibilities for management, supervisors and employees.
Management will develop the culture and provide the training and resources necessary to support our commitments and will take health, safety and environmental matters into account when making business decisions.
We will maintain Millennium Geomatics Ltd. as a healthy and safe place to work and a desirable members of the communities in which we operate.
Environmental

Millennium is committed to protecting the environment during all phases of its operations and will ensure:

All fuels and lubricants are stored in proper containers and all used engine oils will be recycled.

Flagging will be kept to a minimum and prohibited where animals are present or in fields that are in crop. Biodegradable flagging's or fluorescent paint will be used wherever possible and the use of lath will be kept to a minimum.

Traverse nails and survey marks located on roads or in fields used by livestock will be countersunk.

All snags, deadfall and brush will be cleared off traverse lines.

All cut lines will be kept to a minimum width.
-
All garbage and human waste will be removed from the workplace.
-
Campfires will be properly extinguished.

Vehicles and other power equipment that generate excessive heat are not left running near potential fuel sources such as tall grass or refuelling areas.

Care will be taken to avoid creating ruts when operating vehicles.

Waste containers for wet, dry and recycled materials will be provided.

Rags, towels and other cleaning materials that are covered with oil, grease, gasoline or cleaning solvents will be disposed of at a government-approved hazardous waste disposal site.

The Canadian Wildlife Service will be contacted when working in areas which have been designated as parks or wildlife sanctuaries.

All client and government environment policies and regulations will be followed.
